Welcome to the official online platform for the Brailsford Investiture Committee.

 

Rev. Carolyn and I are excited about the move of God we are seeing across the connection. Despite the challenges presented by the COVID-19 pandemic, instead of being stifled, in the spirit of the Free African Society we have responded across the world in providing services for our members and neighbors. We have demonstrated innovation and creativity, utilizing technology to propel the gospel on social media platforms and live streams to reach places we have never reached before.

We believe God that the best is yet to come because the Word of God is true, "Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him" (1 Corinthians 2:9 KJV). I believe the best days of our church are yet before us!

 

I approach this office of President of the Council of Bishops in humility and with the bold faith to believe that, “With God, All Things Are Possible!” This is the theme God gave me in prayer for the season we are in as we journey through to the other side. It is a reminder to depend on Him; to know that even the seemingly impossible will be possible to the glory of God. It will not be by might nor by power, but by my spirit says the Lord. And when it is done, people will know it was God and He will get the glory!

 

The Investiture will mark a new beginning for us in that journey. I request your prayers and support for the Investiture; my tenure as President of the Council of Bishops;  my family; the Nineteenth Episcopal District and the global African Methodist Episcopal Church. In addition to your prayers, we pray that this website allows you to show your support in tangible ways.
